SUMMMITREKS TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Deposit required is £50.00 per person. The balance outstanding is payable 4 weeks prior to the start date of your Course, Activity Break or Holiday. 2. If you cancel or change dates more than 4 weeks before the start date an administration charge of £10.00 person will be made. 3. The deposit is not refundable if you cancel or change dates less than 4 weeks before the start date of your Course, Activity Break or Holiday. 4. No refund is payable if you cancel or change dates less than 2 weeks before the start date of your Course, Activity Break or Holiday. 5. We reserve the right to cancel any course if there are insufficient numbers and undertake to notify you as soon as possible. 6. If the course is cancelled, you will be given the option of an alternative date (subject to availability) or a full refund. 7. In the event of bad weather / poor conditions we will undertake every effort to complete the advertised Course, Activity Break or Holiday or provide a suitable alternative programme. 8. The authority and decision of the instructor or group leader is final and at all times must be accepted by you and other members in your party. This is principally for safety reasons. 9. Summitreks provide all specialist equipment. We will send you a list of personal equipment appropriate for the Course, Activity Break or Holiday on which you’ve booked. It is your responsibility to come suitably prepared and equipped. 10. We expect you to have a level of physical fitness appropriate for the Course, Activity Break or Holiday for which you’ve booked. You must inform us at the time of booking of any medical condition which could affect your safety. 11. We recommend that you and other members in your party obtain personal holiday insurance to cover illness, cancellation, injury, your personal effects and equipment. 12. If your are making a booking on behalf of others you must ensure they have read and agree to Summitreks booking terms and conditions and have read and understood all pre Course, Activity Break or Holiday information.
