Looking for a fun and action filled way to celebrate the last taste of real freedom before taking those vows? Have you been given the task of organising the "big do" for your best mate and want to it to be something extra special? Then Summitreks has just what you're looking for. We offer a great range of adventure based activities which we guarantee will make the event special and very memorable!

Summitreks Adventure Centre is located close to the shores of the incredibly picturesque Coniston Water. You’ll be following in the footsteps of the water speed ace, Donald Campbell, with your activities here. Also the characters in "Swallows and Amazons" who enjoyed the lake at a slower pace. However, Summitreks twist on water activities will give you all the thrills, duckings and laughs you can take in a day.

Coniston village is ideally situated for easy access to some of the best venues for adventure activities in the Lake District with its own lake and great sites for gorge scrambling, canyoning, aquaseiling (abseiling waterfalls), climbing and abseiling. And, when I say, "abseils" I mean BIG abseils!! So if you want to experience a real adrenalin rush then forget the theme park experience come and get seriously wet, dirty and pumped up with us. If you don't want to overdose on too much adrenaline then you can chill out Canadian canoeing or raft building. Plenty of laughs with this one and it really brings out the competitive edge in everyone with some fantastic "Grand Designs". And, who knows they might even float!

We can offer you a wide range of adventure activity packages with up to two activity sessions, lasting up to three hours each, in a day. Or you can make a full weekend of it. For example: two sessions on the Saturday and one session on Sunday morning (if you think you’ll be up to it!). If you just want to do one session lasting a half day that's fine by us. The activities you can choose, and "pick and mix" from, include: Kayaking, Canadian Canoeing, Rock climbing, Abseiling, Gorge scrambling, Raft building, Aquaseiling and Canyoning.

Our packages are fantastic value for money with a half day session costing only £35 per person. A full day is even better value at £55 per person. (A £5 supplement is payable for Aquaseiling & Canyoning)Group discounts are available.

All activities are delivered by Summitreks qualified and highly experienced team of instructors. And, they know just what it takes to give a Hen and Stag group a great time.
