Radio Cumbria broadcast a comprehensive three part forecast, for valley, coast and fell.
Monday to Friday, this weekday forecast is broadcast after 06.30, 07.30 08.30 and 12.30 news bulletin. A prediction for next day is broadcast during 17.00 drive time show, soon after 17.30 and 18.30.
Weekends the morning forecast is still broadcast but only 07.30 and 08.30 , but no evening broadcast.
Can be quite humorous, especially when "visibility is less than 100 meters in hill fog"
Local news programs inserted into national news and magazine programming, often have a localised forecast, before a national weather forecaster makes a guess at what might happen. Refer to TV schedules.
