Summer 2012

Coniston Canoe Centre will be operating from the shores of stunning Coniston Water (see main photo). Opening in June Summitreks will be offering canoe and kayak sessions with fully qualified instructors right throughout the day. We provide all the kit ... you'll learn new skills and it's a great way to experience these fun activities.

June - July

Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays

kayak 10am -11.15am and 3.00pm - 4.15pm

Canoe 11.15am - 12.30pm

August

Mondays to Saturday (inclusive).

Kayak 9.30am -10.45am and 1.30pm - 2.45pm

Canoe 11.15am - 12.30pm and 3.15 - 4.30pm

Parents are not required to stay with their children as all staff are fully qualified to instruct under 16's without parental supervision.

All safety equipment is provided but we recommend the following items should be brought along: swimming costume/trunks, warm tracksuit type clothing, several warm layers, waterproof over clothing, light trainer type footwear - suitable for getting wet, towel, spare change of clothing.
