BHLC Courses in the Lake District

Learn the skills to lead walking groups in the British mountains and remote upland areas in summer conditions.
Top class instruction and training delivered in the Lake District National Park.
Training includes the National Navigation Award.

The course is delivered in three parts with each part consisting of a weekend course (two days plus evening sessions for each weekend).

2013 DATES:

BHLC 1 :-19th - 21st July.

6th - 8th September. 18th - 20th October

BHLC 11:- *7th - 9th June. 2nd - 4th August. 27th - 29th September

BHLC 111:- 16th - 18th August. 4th - 6th October

All courses are held at Derwentwater Hostel, Borrowdale

* Held at Thorney How Hostel, Grasmere

The cost of each weekend course is £199.00. This includes Hostel board, lodgings, tuition, assessment, National Navigation Award fees and VAT. There is no maximum or minimum time restriction between courses.

Minimum age is 18 years.
